Even though rain threatened all morning, it held off long enough for us to bring students from Sir James Douglas School outside to receive their mail delivery.

After chatting a bit outside

and demonstrating my loud Pony Express WHOOOO-OOO-OOOP!

we headed inside to look at a few photos of my trip through Nevada. Meanwhile, Dani and Breezy waited under a tree outside. Alas, no tree could have been big enough to keep them dry! By the time I joined them outside, they were both drenched and not very happy. Dani put on my big Australian coat and bravely set off across Fairfield towards our next stop, GNS. Along the way she had more than a few odd looks from folks in the neighbourhood unaccustomed to seeing a horse stroll by!

Lots of grade 4's and 5's came to the library to hear about Jo's Triumph, and to hand over their letters for students in Nevada.
